This is a Mental Health Trauma Residential Extended Care Program treating dual diagnosis, trauma/PTSD, borderline personality disorder, addiction and eating disorder issues as well as other mental health issues, with a trauma base. This is a residential extended care program where individuals live and work on their issues with Psychiatrist, therapists and life coaches in therapy sessions. The program runs between three and six months for each person depending upon what they need to recover from and move themselves into successfully. We have a huge variety of programs and the residents will have a few core groups to do together including equine assisted psychotherapy and equine riding therapy, but will individualize their treatment past that point to achieve their goals. Evolve’s residential treatment center offers compassionate, evidence-based treatment to adolescents ages 12-17 struggling with mental health, substance use, and/or behavioral issues. Many of our teens have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, trauma, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, conduct disorder, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Our handpicked treatment team consists of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, Master’s-level residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with experiential therapies (e.g. equine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, surfing, music, art, drama, fitness, yoga and more). Teens participate in individual/family therapy at least five times a week, psychiatry sessions once a week, and daily groups on DBT Skills, Anger Management, Seeking Safety, and Relapse Prevention. For out-of-state families, we conduct family therapy sessions via HIPAA-compliant video conference. We also provide daily academic support to help your adolescent stay on track with school.

Most students that attend Alpine Academy experience severe anxiety and/or depression. This impedes their ability to function successfully at home, in school, and with friends. Trauma has touched their lives in such a way that many have a hard time getting to the root of the problem and learning to express their overwhelming emotions in a healthy manner. Typically our students are bright and capable in school, but emotional disturbances prevent them from being successful in the classroom and in relationships with peers. Oftentimes this leads to them avoiding school and in-person social interaction, opting instead to immerse themselves in the online world of social media and gaming. Our students tend to implode rather than explode, and self-harm and suicidal thoughts, gestures, and attempts may become ways they have coped with their pain. Generally, Alpine students have a strong desire to be able to return to the hobbies, interests, and activities that they used to enjoy doing.

At Gateways to Transformation Farm Therapy Program with onsite supportive housing and healthy food, Includes regular therapy sessions and farm therapy sessions to allow participants at partial hospital level or IOP level of care to learn skills while they still work on their various mental health issues. Healing Pines Recovery is a high-end, 8-bed, boutique-style recovery center; lending itself to a truly individualized program experience. We have tailored our program to the unique needs of men during recovery. Men can have a difficult time expressing thoughts, feelings, and emotions during therapy, so we have customized our approach to focus on making it easier for our patients in these areas. HPR’s programming is formatted to benefit men seeking help for the first time and men who have been to other treatment centers, who need a more intimate, individualized setting to heal. We have the expertise, understanding, and dedication necessary to help our patients reach their goals. We have many fun, engaging activities, all here on our property. There is a disc golf course, pickleball court, basketball court, mountain bike trails, and walking trails. We recognize that it is extremely hard work to apply oneself therapeutically at this level of care and built a program that offers patients many outlets for physical fitness and nutrition.
