Clinical Counseling Associates of Kansas City (CCA) is a private practice with two locations in Liberty, MO and Mission, KS. CCA has several service options with over 20 counselors and one nurse practitioner to meet the individualized needs of every client that walks through the door. The therapists at CCA use modern approaches to create an individualized treatment plan that is unique to each individual and their life experiences. CCA provides services to individuals, couples, and families. CCA strives to offer a variety of treatment options and innovate services such as groups, classes, medication management, psychological assessments, the Pet Therapy Program, EMDR Therapy, Play Therapy, Discounted Internship Program, and First Responder Services. In addition to these services, CCA has a variety of payment options to ensure clients can afford services or utilize their insurance or employee assistance program (EAP) benefits. Meet the Owners
Jill and Sheena are both Park University Master in Social Work graduates. Their journey together started as classmates and has evolved into creating a successful private practice. Jill and Sheena initially started as therapists at Clinical Counseling Associates Inc., a private practice that has been established in the community for approximately 30 years. Even though both women are passionate about providing therapy services, they wanted to do more. In 2020, they purchased the practice and changed the name to Clinical Counseling Associates of Kansas City LLC. As owners, they began making changes to build an innovate, modern practice. They created specialized services and hired staff members with unique specialties.
