Psychology & Beyond, Inc is a non-residential treatment facility established by a group of licensed psychologists and psychotherapists who work at different locations (i.e., schools, nursing and rehabilitation centers, client's residence (autism only), and community mental health centers, among other places including our own private practice. We work cooperatively with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and specialists (when needed). We are experienced psychotherapist who provides individual counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families with depression, anxiety, employment/academic problems, grief, parenting issues, dementia, suicide thoughts, acute/chronic health conditions, substance abuse, self-injury (autism), cognitive disorder (attention/memory), adolescent-parent conflicts, divorce, etc. In addition, we specialize in Neuropsychology and Applied Behavior Analysis.

Situated in Central Florida, Lotus Behavioral Health’s facility serves the behavioral health needs of teenagers aged 12-17 facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. As adolescents recover and heal with individualized services and our specialized addiction treatment, our 20,000 sq ft residential treatment facility will be their home. Our groups and sessions focus on a whole-person perspective that helps clients answer the questions "Who Am I?" and "How did I get here?". We help both the individual and their family delve into the core issues of fear, acceptance, rejection, coping and thought distortion.

This service is currently offered at our Norfolk location as well as through Telehealth communications. Intensive Outpatient program is not specific to only military families.

STAR Guides is an outdoor therapeutic program designed for youth and young adults who are struggling with problematic sexual behavior. STAR Guides provides families with navigation through these challenges. Regardless of past behaviors, we believe that all youth can learn to achieve healthy sexuality. Research suggests that for many, sexual problematic behavior first begins during the adolescent years. STAR Guides helps youth to deal with these problems while they are still young.
