At Centerpointe Counseling and Recovery, we help people to overcome obstacles that interfere with happiness and fulfillment in day to day life. Our therapists all have master’s degrees with many years’ experience working with addictions. We provide a safe and healing environment for anyone in need of individual or group counseling. Our expertise is our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals struggling with addiction to alcohol or drugs. We also have a new Mental Health IOP for people that do not have any active substance abuse but are working through some rough areas and need more support that just and hour or two of counseling per week.Both the substance abuse and mental health Intensive Outpatient Program meet 3 days a week 3 hours a day. We are a small private owned center that takes a holistic approach that incorporates body, mind, and spirit. Our groups are small, average 8 or less clients to provide that individualized attention to meet your needs. We have day and evening IOP groups and two location Sarasota and Venice both right off I-75. Additional Services
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is available to all clients in the IOP program at no additional cost. For a fee it is offered to those not a part of the IOP program. CST is light hands on modality that help calm the nervous system, great for stress, anxiety it also helps with relieving restriction in the body that causes pain. CST also is very beneficial working through trauma with somatic emotional release (SER). CST is offered by an LMT and CST-T certified therapist. The client is always fully clothed during a CST session.
