Our Population
2nd Generation family-owned program founded on faith and clinical excellence. Capstone works with adolescent boys ages 14-17 and young men 18-28 struggling with mental health, substance abuse, compulsive sexual behavior, addiction, trauma, and more. We provide an industry leading 2:1 client to therapist ratio and are the only treatment program in the world that gives every client a puppy on admission and they take the dog home with them when they graduate. Unparalleled 2 to 1 client to therapist ratio. Our ratio fosters a client-focused, intensive approach to the deep therapy work needed for lasting healing. Therapists collectively review each client's progress with individual and group therapy to develop a more comprehensive treatment plan. Clinical leadership is regularly involved providing guidance and insight to each member of the therapy team. Each client receives a Labrador retriever puppy upon admission. The dogs become an integral piece of the therapeutic process - helping with attachment wounds, teaching responsibility, assisting relapse prevention, and more. After graduation, our clients leave with a sober companion for years to come.
