Concierge Mental Health and TMS Treatment Center

Located in the heart of vibrant Williamsburg, we provide exceptional, comprehensive and collaborative mental health care to individuals and families across the lifespan. At Brooklyn Minds, we are pleased to offer a number of cutting-edge, evidence-based treatments, including Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT), deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and pharmacogenomic testing to inform medication choice. But perhaps what sets us apart the most is the amount of time and thought we dedicate to our patients. Contact us to learn more about how concierge mental health can make a difference where standard outpatient care may not.

What we Offer: A Menu of Treatment Options

Just as Brooklyn is known for its artisanal goods, treatment plans at Brooklyn Minds are highly customized and may include some combination of individual therapy, family/couples therapy, group therapy, medication management, complementary approaches and somatic therapy (e.g.deep TMS). Because we keep case loads small, we are very responsive to patients outside sessions as needed and will collaborate with other important people or agencies in an individual's life. The first step is a very comprehensive initial evaluation and then we continually assess if the treatment plan we create is working. We are open to working with people of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual and lifestyle orientations.

Who We are

Dr.Carlene MacMillan, the co-founder and CEO, is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist double boarded in adult and child psychiatry. Brooklyn Minds's Groups

Mentalization Based Treatment Group

This group is for young adults between the ages of 19-30 who want to improve their ability to authentically connect with others, increase curiosity and to understand misunderstandings. This one of only a handful of MBT groups in the country. While MBT was designed for borderline and antisocial personality disorders, it can be helpful for anyone struggling with relationships with others. It has rolling admissions. If you are outside this age range and are interested in an MBT group, please still get in touch as more groups will be forming.
