Bridgeway Recovery Center, located in the historic district of Valdosta, Georgia, near Valdosta State University, is a licensed outpatient treatment center dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance use disorders. Our passionate clinical team and administrative staff are committed to guiding clients through the challenges of addiction and toward the rewards of long-term recovery. Designed for individuals meeting ASAM Level II criteria, our program is ideal for those transitioning from inpatient or residential treatment to long-term sobriety. We provide a nurturing environment that supports personal and emotional growth, effectively bridging the gap between inpatient detox/treatment and successful individual recovery. At Bridgeway Recovery Center, we prioritize creating a safe and therapeutic space where recovery can thrive. To ensure personalized attention, we limit our group sizes to a maximum of ten individuals. Our team of fully licensed therapists, led by our medical director—a board-certified Addictionologist—is uniquely equipped to support our clients as they embark on their sober journeys. The effectiveness of Outpatient Programs has been validated by numerous peer-reviewed clinical studies and has been proven to substantially reduce alcohol and drug use for clients who attend consistently. Bridgeway Recovery Center’s (BRC) Intensive Outpatient Program uses evidence-based practices to address substance use disorders in our clients. Examples of these evidence-based practices include Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, 12 Step Facilitation Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care to address each client’s diagnoses. BRC’s Intensive Outpatient Program consists of three (3) hours of group therapy per day, at least three (3) days per week, for a weekly total of not less than nine (9) therapy hours. Individual therapy consists of at least one (1) weekly session to address specific individual needs privately. BRC uses ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) Criteria as our template for determining the appropriate level of care for clients. We Understand and We Can Help

A substantial number of our clinical and administrative staff are people in long-term recovery and highly qualified in their respective professional fields.
