Adult Residential Treatment
Bradford Recovery Center, located in Millerton, Pennsylvania, is a leading residential treatment center serving adults age 18 and older who have addictions and a range of co-occurring mental health conditions. Our residential rehab program typically lasts for about 28-36 days depending on individual needs, and it incorporates treatment methods such as the 12-Step model of recovery, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). For patients who may need medical support during their stay, we offer daily medical care. We can also provide medication management services for people who are taking medications during their time with us. Additionally, patients have the option to begin their time in residential treatment in our detox program, where they can receive nursing and therapeutic support as they withdraw from drugs and alcohol. As you engage in the therapies and services that make up your individualized treatment plan, you may work with multiple members of our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, behavioral health associates, registered nurses, and case managers.
Treatment Approach
At our adult residential treatment center, we provide individualized services at every step of a patient’s treatment journey. Your individualized treatment plan can include individual therapy with qualified counselors — offered weekly or more frequently depending on your unique needs — as well as family therapy as needed and appropriate. Our robust group therapy offerings can include psychoeducation groups, peer support groups, and relapse prevention groups. We may also offer groups that rely on therapies such as the Seeking Safety model and motivational interviewing, and we provide access to wellness groups led by visiting fitness instructors. Your time in treatment may also include experiential therapies and activities, such as volleyball, kickball, a laughter group, and a variety of team-building and other activities. Additionally, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available when needed. At Bradford Recovery Center, our MAT services can include a prescription for Suboxone, Vivitrol, naltrexone, or Sublocade based on patient needs.
Our Treatment Center
Our premier addiction and mental health treatment center is located in the beautiful mountains of north-central Pennsylvania and offers comfortable amenities that can support you in your healing process. These facilities include an Olympic-size volleyball court, a workout area with exercise equipment, and a cozy fire pit and pavilion area. We also provide family services so that patients’ loved ones can receive support during the recovery journey. These services can include family education programming, through which loved ones may gain a deeper understanding of the effects of addiction and the tools for recovery. To further support our patients, we also provide access to customized discharge planning, which can include recommendations for a wide range of aftercare services, such as extended care, medical services, and family therapy. Our treatment center also provides alumni services, including check-ins with our alumni coordinator and regular alumni events.
