MISSION STATEMENT
Bleuler Chemical Dependence (BCD) Recovery Services' mission is to provide a comprehensive range of assessment, treatment planning, counseling and psychiatric services in order to help each individual, families and significant others live an alcohol and drug free life. For over 60 years, the Bleuler Psychotherapy Center Mental Health Clinic has offered low-cost, high quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in Queens and the greater NYC area. Now BCD extends this array of comprehensive services to include alcohol and substance abuse addictions treatment. BCD provides Intensive and Non-Intensive outpatient chemical dependence services. Having both levels of care allows programmatic flexibility to meet the varying needs of BCD clients. For dual diagnosis conditions, clients can also be seen in Bleuler's Mental Health Clinic. Through comprehensive assessment and treatment planning, BCD staff will educate and counsel each individual, helping them to become motivated to take charge of their life and achieve their life goals in a program tailored to their individual needs. Counseling at BCD provides individuals with the necessary life skills to enable them to complete their education and employment goals and develop healthy drug and alcohol free interpersonal relationships with family and friends. BCD provides treatment utilizing the most current, clinically relevant, Evidenced Based and advanced treatment approaches. Treatment strategies are selected for each patient at the completion of their assessment and as part of the treatment planning and goal setting phase of treatment. STAFF
BCD's staff are licensed and certified therapists who provide a comprehensive, multi-disciplined approach to substance abuse treatment at BCD.
