WJCS' Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program meets people where they are in their substance use and helps them become stable in early recovery. This all occurs through outpatient group and individual appointments with our addiction specialists. Addictions to all substances are treated, including marijuana, opioids, alcohol, nicotine, sedatives, cocaine, methamphetamine, hallucinogens, and others. In addition, the program treats related cooccurring mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. The program is ideal for adults who prefer outpatient substance use treatment. It also works well to help people continue the progress they have made after discharge from inpatient or residential programs.

Blanton-Peale Institute and Counseling Center is an outpatient mental health facility conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, within walking distance to most subway and train lines. We accept almost all insurances, including Medicaid and have a low cost sliding scale so our services are affordable. We offer individual (adolescents and adults), couples and group counseling in a warm and comfortable environment. We are, also, able to provide medication management to our clients in therapy.
