About

Premier Provider Of Drug & Alcohol Recovery

At Behavioral Health & Family Services, the objectives of our substance abuse out-patient treatment program are to provide a forum for clients to discuss issues and receive support while coping with their day-to-day work, school, and life stressors. These objectives are accomplished through cognitive behavioral interventions, drug and alcohol education, family involvement, and caring therapists..

Our Team Of Multidisciplinary Specialist

Our addiction specialists will help patients resolve interpersonal conflicts, pain, stress, anxiety, and other emotional concerns that relate to chemical dependency. Group therapy sessions will focus on strategies for maintaining sobriety, avoiding relapse, and developing a supportive environment for recovery.

Individualized Interventions

Our outpatient treatment facilities also offer education and support for families helping their loved one through the recovery process. We use proven clinical intervention treatment methods to help make positive life changes coupled with the spiritual support of NA/AA groups.

BHFS Medical & Behavioral Services's Groups

Anger Management

Anger is a normal human emotion. Depending on how it is managed and expressed, anger can have positive consequences. However, there are potential negative consequences of anger when it is not managed or expressed appropriately or effectively. Often, individuals with anger challenges were criticized earlier in life, and react to others in the same manner they were treated. Prolonged or intense anger and frustration contributes to physical conditions such as headaches, digestive problems, high blood pressure and heart disease. Group counseling can be very effective in helping individuals explore the causes of their anger and in learning anger reducing techniques.
