Medication Assisted Treatment
BHcare offers comprehensive substance abuse services for individuals struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction. MAT for opioid use disorder (OUD), aka opioid addiction, uses Suboxone, which is a combination of a partial opiate and an opioid blocker. Suboxone, is used for opioid withdrawal treatment and reduces cravings but does not allow a person to get some of the effects from opioids. We also use Vivitrol (Naltrexone) and Buprenorphine Extended-Release, another opioid withdrawal medication, which is an injectable opioid blocker. Take the first step to help.
