Expert Perinatal Mental Health Care
Now serving Alabama, Georgia and Florida. At Better Beginnings our providers serve adult mental health and we specialize in mental and emotional health surrounding the time of pregnancy and after delivery (this includes infertility, surrogacy, donor mental health, perinatal loss and post-adoption). We also offer psychotherapy and medication management to teens and adults outside of that specialization. Additionally, we offer comprehensive evaluations and medication for ADHD.

Better Beginnings is the only specialized center in the Southeastern U.S. and Florida with levels of care and providers with additional training in perinatal mental health (surrounding the time of pregnancy and after delivery. This includes infertility, surrogacy, donor mental health, perinatal loss and post-adoption. Services are delivered in person and online by psychotherapists and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. We offer preventative/educational resources and classes; traditional outpatient weekly sessions and Florida's first Mother/Baby Partial Hospitalization Program (this is an OUTPATIENT program) for our clients who are better served with more intensive outpatient services.
