Welcome to Belmont Behavioral Health System
For over 75 years, Belmont Behavioral Health System has provided superior mental and behavioral healthcare to young people and adults alike in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. We offer a full continuum of services to meet the varying needs of individuals who require exemplary mental health treatment. Our team consists of caring, compassionate, and expertly trained professionals who want nothing more than to see patients heal and recover. These same professionals lead counseling sessions and offer ongoing support as patients work towards their treatment goals. Whether a person is suffering from a mental illness, substance abuse problem, or dual diagnosis, this hospital is equipped to identify, address, and effectively treat a myriad of presenting and underlying concerns.
Our Programs & Levels of Care
Belmont Behavioral Health System is dedicated to helping people heal, recover, and thrive in lasting ways. In order to fulfill this mission, our hospital is pleased to offer three levels of care designed to meet patients' needs. For those who are in need of immediate mental and behavioral health treatment, we offer inpatient programming for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. This treatment option also includes specialized care for those battling eating disorders, mood disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. We also supply high-quality outpatient services through our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. These programs can be used as step-down treatment options once a patient has completed inpatient care. People of all ages are eligible to receive outpatient treatment if such care is necessary to foster lasting healing and recovery.
Our Admissions Process
In order to make services as readily available as possible, we have an efficient and streamlined admissions process. Assessments for admissions are accessible via the Access Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all individuals who feel they would benefit from the care our hospital has to offer. Every need of every person who seeks our care is identified, then the staff of our devoted admissions team will determine the most appropriate type and level of care required. Prospective patients' medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, familial, and social histories are discussed and evaluated at the time of admission to ensure the level of care selected will elicit the most favorable treatment outcomes.
