Adult Inpatient Treatment
Adults age 18 and older who are suffering from severe symptoms of mental health concerns and co-occurring substance use disorders can benefit from inpatient treatment at Belmont Behavioral Health System. Through round-the-clock care, we help our patients stabilize and prepare for the next phase of the healing process. Our inpatient program lasts for an average of five to seven days, although each patient’s actual length of stay is based on their specific needs. During treatment, patients receive 24/7 monitoring in a safe and secure environment that promotes long-term healing, and they take part in therapy sessions to help them learn valuable coping skills that can improve their quality of life. Our team collaborates with each patient to better understand the challenges they are facing and tailor their care in a manner that can yield optimal results and set them up for sustained success. We understand the unique needs of individuals who are in crisis and provide treatment with the utmost dignity and respect, guiding our patients toward happier, healthier lives. Treatment Approach
Our team believes in the effectiveness of individualized care. For this reason, we conduct a comprehensive assessment for each person at the time of admission to better understand their symptoms so that we can determine certain elements of their care. Our team carefully considers their goals, mental and physical health history, prior treatment, and preferences to select the therapies and services that can help them achieve the best outcomes possible. Depending on each patient’s unique needs, their care may include medical care, detox services, medication management services, medication-assisted treatment, and individual, family, and group therapies. We also offer innovative services that address treatment-resistant depression, including transcranial magnetic stimulation and electroconvulsive therapy. At the end of treatment, patients receive thorough aftercare plans that can help them continue making progress toward their goals. Continuing care plans may include referrals to a less restrictive level of care and community resources. Our Treatment Center
At Belmont Behavioral Health System, our compassionate and highly skilled staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, master’s-level mental health clinicians, creative arts and recreational therapists, nursing staff, and others.
