Benefits of Medication-Assisted Treatment
Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Baton Rouge Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are battling addictions to opioids. MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines the use of prescription medication with counseling sessions to alleviate symptoms of withdrawal while also addressing the psychological aspects of addiction. Using MAT and a person-centered perspective, our staff can create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Counseling sessions include group and individual therapy and can give you the opportunity to connect with counselors and peers through deep discussions regarding personal experiences, goals for treatment, and other relevant topics. Building relationships with other adults who are facing similar struggles can provide added support during your time at Baton Rouge CTC. One of our highest priorities is to help you understand that you are not alone in your recovery process. What to Expect
Your experience at our treatment center will be guided by compassionate professionals who are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients. Our team can empower you to set goals, recognize your strengths, and face challenges with confidence. Through therapy sessions, our counselors can offer emotional support and teach you coping skills that can help prevent future relapse. If you have any concerns during treatment, we want you to feel comfortable reaching out to our team. Our team members can thoroughly explain the treatment process and answer any questions that may arise. We encourage you to remain invested and engaged in your own recovery, as we believe that your dedication is a key component of successful treatment. When you are able to fully commit to your recovery journey, MAT can yield positive results and help you regain control of your life. Our Comprehensive Treatment Center
Prior to admission at Baton Rouge CTC, you will complete an initial assessment that will help our team gather the information needed to strategically select the appropriate medication that may best meet your needs. Most methadone clinics offer just one type of medication; however, our CTC offers methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Suboxone. We will carefully and continually monitor your dosage while you are in our care to help keep you comfortable and supported during your treatment. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), MAT is one of the most highly effective ways to treat addictions to opioids. When you are ready to seek treatment, we are ready to help you on your path to recovery. Take the first step to help. Call Baton Rouge Comprehensive Treatment Center now - (225) 442-0260
