The kind, experienced staff members at Regional Crisis Center—Durango offer different types of care to help meet your immediate needs. Our Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) provides short-term crisis stabilization. It is available for people over age 18 who need to access mental health services quickly. Withdrawal Management (Detox Unit) is a place for people to withdraw from substances. People can access mental health services during business hours by calling or walking into the Regional Crisis Center – Durango. Outside of business hours – or at any time – you can call the 24/7 Axis 24/7 Care Line at 970.247.5245. A variety of treatment approaches
The ATU will help you regain stability and return to your daily activities. We can help with options such as psychiatric and medication management, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and wellness education. In addition, we offer individual and group therapy, case management, and transition services. It is an alternative to traditional inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, which is located outside our region. Here for you, 24/7
