Atlas is a primary substance use/abuse/dependence program whose mission is to provide inclusive client-centered treatment that empowers our clients to live a life of purpose and meaning as defined by the client. At Atlas, we support multiple pathways to recovery and believe treatment should be individualized to each client's unique background, culture, goals, vision, needs, and mental health challenges. Understanding the profound connection between trauma and addiction, our facility provides trauma-informed care, including an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-trained therapist on staff. Moreover, every client is assigned a primary licensed therapist who provides individual, couples, and family psychotherapy sessions. Clients attend groups facilitated by a dedicated and passionate group of certified facilitators, including experiential, psychoeducational, and enrichment groups. With an on-site Physician and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, our comprehensive medical team maximizes client outcomes by offering superior medication management and medically assisted treatment. We firmly believe in actively listening to our clients' goals and collaborating with them to get the tailored support they truly need, rather than adopting a rigid, "one-size-fits-all" approach.
