About Athens Addiction Recovery Center
Athens Addiction Recovery Center provides individual and group therapy, partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for alcohol and drug addiction. Formerly known as AARC, we now are The Recovery Center for quick reference. We offer both day and evening programs. We are conveniently located in the Athens Academy area, serving Northeast Georgia. Convenient to the 10-loop bypass, our treatment center is not only easily accessible to Clarke and Oconee county residents, but those of surrounding counties as well. The mission of Athens Addiction Recovery Center also known as, The Recovery Center, is to provide the highest level of personalized care and treatment to every client. Our dedicated staff members demonstrate concern and compassion while working with clients in a direct, respectful, and honest manner. We provide a therapeutic community, where a safe and serene environment creates an atmosphere conducive to recovery and change. The Recovery Center Multi-Disciplinary Team
Our care team includes certified and licensed counselors and therapists, physician medical director, psychiatrist, and a full time nursing staff, including an advanced practice nurse. We also have on staff an LCSW who specializes in the Community Reinforcement & Family Training (CRAFT) philosophy.
