Youth Residential Treatment Center for Boys

Our residential treatment center, Ashcreek Academy, is designed to help youth aged 13-17. We pride ourselves in the treatment that we provide for our clients and their families. We focus on helping the boys handle the stresses and hardships of being a teenager. Our treatment plan is designed to help those struggling with depression, anxiety, attachment issues, behavioral issues, family communication and more. We know that the boys that come into our care mean a lot and we want to set them up for success so we employ the three C's into our treatment plan: Character, Challenge and Community. As our clients move through our program they are challenged in different ways so they can grow into great young men, and our focus on community-living helps them realize how their actions affect others, for the good and for the bad.

Individualized and Trauma-Informed Care

At Ashcreek, we know that every client that comes through our door is different and has different needs. Because of that, we know that we cannot treat each in the same way. As a result, we created a program that can be individualized according to the needs of each of our clients. We do not use a "level system" which is used by most traditional residential treatment centers. At Ashcreek we have 4 different "pursuits" that the boys can be placed in to help guide them to grow in each of those areas. The boys are placed in a pursuit based on what they need at any particular time in their treatment. This allows us to work with the client based on where he is at instead of telling him where he should be.

Focus on the Family and the Future

At Ashcreek Academy we understand that it's important that our clients succeed while they are here; however, we understand that it is more important that the boys learn how to be successful in their family lives and in every aspect of their future lives. Through weekly family therapy and group therapy we help the boys make connections between what they are learning here and how it applies to their lives outside of here. We know that you care about your son and want a good relationship with him, at Ashcreek he will learn the basic principles of healthy relationships and will learn how to apply them at home.
