When you need help, but reaching out feels overwhelming, you can turn to the licensed mental health professionals at Ascension Seton Healthcare Family to help. For over 15 years, Ascension Seton has been providing specialized intensive outpatient treatment to adults experiencing emotional and/or substance abuse difficulties. As the longest running intensive outpatient program in Austin, we are committed to the emotional well being of Central Texans, every step of the way.
Our therapists are experienced, master level clinicians who provide evidenced-based treatment and apply best practices in working with diverse populations. For your convenience, we offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) at multiple locations and times. Our specialized IOP groups include adult Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use, Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy for disorders of over-control, and Restore and Veteran Restore, our IOPs for the treatment of trauma. We work with a broad range of adults, ranging from young adults who need support with the transition to adulthood to those who have tried multiple treatments for chronic thoughts of self-harm or unremitting substance abuse.
Many of the patients in our programs have tried individual therapy, medication, or self-help groups with little success. If you or a loved one are experiencing depression, anxiety, drug or alcohol abuse, or other emotional problems that get in the way of your ability to carry out your usual activities, we encourage you to call us today to speak with one of our master level Resource Navigator clinicians for more information and to schedule an assessment at no cost to you.
