Wings Recovery is a residential treatment center for women located in San Diego. We offer intensive treatment in a small, private setting. We specialize in treating women with trauma, dissociative disorders, addiction issues, self harm and general mental health issues. Throughout the duration of treatment you will be living at our residential treatment center and receive 24 hour care. Wings Recovery was developed by a doctor and therapist to provide the highest level of care and healing. Wings Recovery emphasizes a safe and empowering community, fostering healing through individual therapy, group therapy, EMDR and other trauma-focused therapies, medication management, nutrition services, vocational support, yoga, creative arts groups, mindfulness and therapeutic outings. We are designed and licensed to treat mental health issues, substance abuse issues or both. We use research-based therapy to treat conditions such as: PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depressive Disorders, suicidality, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, social anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, Dissociative Disorders, Bereavement, Bipolar Disorder, eating disorders and more. Because we are a small facility, we are able to create a safe environment for our clients and tailor the treatment approach to each individual so as to meet their particular needs. Our Trauma support group helps clients learn coping skills for managing trauma. We provide education and practical skills for managing flashbacks, dissociation, intrusive thoughts, nightmares and other effects of trauma. This group helps clients reduce anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms and other emotional distress.
