Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, is a time-tested method that uses both medication and counseling to help adults achieve recovery from alcohol or opioid addiction. Years of research has shown that people who take part in MAT are more likely to remain in treatment and less likely to relapse. Contrary to popular belief, MAT doesn’t involve swapping one drug for another. When taken as directed, MAT medications can help people stop abusing certain substances and may ease distressing cravings and painful withdrawal symptoms. But just taking medication only addresses the physical aspects of addiction. By also participating in counseling, a person can change their behaviors or learn healthier ways to manage intense emotions. This approach addresses addiction from a more holistic standpoint, making sure that people establish a solid foothold in recovery. We are a boutique residential medical drug and alcohol detoxification facility specializing addiction treatment and dual diagnosis. We offer private rooms and a closely and professionally monitored medical detoxification using effective and safe methods to make your detoxification experience as safe and comfortable as possible. We also provide residential services for after the detox from 30-60 days. Our aim at Diamond House is to create a warm home-like environment where every individual has the privacy of their own room in addition to comfortable spaces for social interactions and group discussions.
