Groups for Substance Disorders & Mental Health

We are a collection of therapists at Archstone Counseling & Treatment who are committed to providing quality groups and individual sessions to clients with challenging situations. We are currently offering special discounted rates for Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Substance Use Disorders for self-pay clients, call for details. We are also launching a twice weekly 2 hour day time mental health group for individuals who want to avoid hospitalization or as a follow up to a hospital stay or other severe mental health issue where additional support would be valuable. This group is self-pay only as insurance does not pay for this length of group. The cost is 100.00 per session for this group and the average length of stay is 8 to 24 sessions. The group is a mix of practical coping and therapeutic discussion with the peer support that comes with a group setting. Using cognitive therapy, DBT, Mindfulness and skills training the goal is to rapidly increase coping ability and resilience. It is facilitated primarily by Susan Archer, LCSW.

How to get started and what to expect!

Our groups and programs begin with an individual assessment. Our goal is to offer an atmosphere of trust and safety while addressing sensitive issues. Collectively we have decades of experience. We try to offer group times that work well for clients as the group demand permits.

Indiviudal Therapy

We employ many therapists who have many years of expertise in a variety of topics. Our focus on multiple areas including mental health, substance abuse, grief and trauma allow us to handle the complexity that comes with having multiple issues. Some of our specialties are EMDR, LENS neurofeedback, deep emotional grief work and dual issues.
