As part of our specialized adolescent inpatient services, we also offer a long-term acute program for girls.
Our mission at Riverview Behavioral Health is to improve patients’ lives by providing superior behavioral healthcare services. We know that each adolescent who participates in our programming has unique therapeutic goals and heals in their own specific way. So we make sure to customize each person’s treatment plan in the ways that may work best for them. To help your child work toward their goals and improve their well-being, we may incorporate evidence-based modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Our adolescent inpatient program also offers individual, group, and family therapies, as well as experiential activities like music and art. In group therapy sessions, we choose topics that can best support the needs of patients. In our adolescent program, young people may discuss topics like anger management, relationships, and impulse control, as well as engage productively with peers who are also receiving inpatient treatment. Your child’s inpatient treatment experience will also include personalized aftercare planning with referrals for their ongoing care.

Riverview Behavioral Health is a leading provider of inpatient behavioral health treatment for adults. We provide expert care and support for adults age 18 and older who have mental health concerns like depression, anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and schizophrenia. We also serve those who are also struggling with co-occurring addictions to substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, and opioids. Our adult inpatient unit can support people at a variety of life stages, including senior adults who are able to participate in and benefit from the treatment services we provide. At our hospital, inpatient care is typically a short-term experience that can help people stabilize and address crisis symptoms before transitioning to a less intensive level of care. Although each person has unique needs and heals at their own pace, the typical length of stay for adults in our inpatient program is about seven to 10 days. To promote the best treatment outcomes, seniors who participate in our adult inpatient program usually remain in care for slightly longer.
