Appleton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with therapy sessions to help alleviate symptoms of withdrawal and keep you comfortable as you focus on healing. Our individual and group therapy sessions involve meaningful discussions that can help you work through the psychological aspects of addiction. Individual therapy will give you the opportunity to engage with our counselors in one-on-one conversations during which you can explore underlying causes of addiction, talk about your goals for the future, and ask any questions you may have. Group therapy sessions will give you the chance to connect with adults who are facing similar struggles. We encourage you to make the most of group therapy and to be a source of support for your peers by listening to their experiences and sharing your own. What to Expect
Prior to admission to our treatment center, our clinicians will complete a thorough assessment during which they will review your medical history, substance use history, and other relevant concerns to help them create a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. Unlike traditional methadone clinics that offer just one type of medication, Appleton CTC provides several options. Your medication will be carefully selected by our clinicians and may include buprenorphine, methadone, Suboxone, or naltrexone. Our team will work with you every step of the way, adjusting your treatment as needed, to ensure that your care continues to support your goals.
