Our treatment team includes a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, licensed therapists, on-site nurses, counselors and 24-hour support staff. We focus on what we do best: creating a safe, supportive, warm home environment for teens to stabilize and learn practical ways to improve their emotional health. At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. (Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely.) Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.

Evolve Danville offers outpatient treatment for teens ages 12-17 who struggle with mental health, addiction, and/or behavioral issues. Our licensed, specialized staff utilize evidence-based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual and family therapy, multifamily groups, parent support groups, psychiatry, daily group sessions and psychoeducation. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation and may display high-risk or self-harming behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our patients the skills needed for distress tolerance, improved impulse control, emotion regulation, and effective communication. Teens also receive daily academic support and participate in experiential therapies such as music, art, mindfulness, yoga, and hiking. Additionally, we integrate addiction recovery modalities such as Relapse Prevention, DBT for Substance Abuse, SMART Recovery, and 12-Step support programs. Located in Scotts Valley, California, The Camp Recovery Center offers residential treatment to adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with a substance use disorder or co-occurring mental health concerns. We commonly address issues with drugs or alcohol such as the inability to stop using them and continued use despite negative consequences. For those who are currently using addictive substances, detox might be the first step in their treatment process. Our detoxification services help adolescents rid their bodies of drugs or alcohol so they can focus on their treatment plans. Residential care includes a structured therapy schedule with 24-hour support. The typical length of stay at this level is about 30-90 days depending on each adolescents’ specific concerns and goals.
