The philosophy of MARS-ATP is that addiction is a disease. As a result MARS-ATP will seek to provide client-centered, community based quality treatment services to those suffering from addictions in the least restrictive and most-cost effective level of care. The process of recovery begins when an individual is completely ready and willing to make a change in their life and accept help for their drug and/or alcohol addiction. The first step to achieving sobriety is safely removing the chemical from the individual's body. Clearbrook Treatment Centers has been providing a safe, medically supervised detoxification process since 1972. In order to ensure effective care, we built a brand new state-of-the-art detox unit in 2010. Along with our inpatient treatment program, our 22-bed detox unit is staffed 24-hours a day, giving our patients assurance that they are continuously cared for by our seasoned medical professionals. Upon a proper admission and evaluation, both our medical team and clinical staff will customize unique and individual treatment plans suited to each patient's specific needs. Clearbrook's substance abuse treatment program is centered on the belief that alcoholism and chemical dependency is a primary disease. Thus, our approach to treatment is utilizing the Minnesota Model, or otherwise known as the abstinence model, as well as incorporating the 12-step model of recovery into treatment goals and aftercare planning.

Pathway Counseling Services is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania to provide Drug and Alcohol counseling for both adults and adolescents with legal issues. We are on the licensed provider list for both Delaware and Chester counties. Being we are a licensed facility our program is accepted by other states. Our facility is located on West Chester Pike. We offer Evaluations and groups for Drug and Alcohol, Anger Management, Mental Health, Domestic violence issues, Adolescent groups and parenting classes. We make every effort to make our services affordable and convenient for the client. We are committed to completing documentation in a timely manner. A copy of the completed evaluation is given to the client during the first visit. Our program is open-ended, and clients can attend the groups that work best for their time table. Completion letters are provided to the client on the day of their last session. Copies of both the evaluation and completion paperwork are faxed to the person or persons that the client designates. Many of our clients identify specific tools they have learned that will be beneficial to them in the future.
