About

Mental Health or Addiction Affecting Your Life?

American Behavioral Clinics is an outpatient treatment facility specialized in psychiatric and behavioral health services for children, teens, and adults. As a center of mental health excellence, we continually remove barriers to ensure you quick access to the right care. We empower every individual with the opportunity to receive a full continuum of recovery- oriented and compassionate care that is built around our industry leading experts. Our clinical team delivers specialized treatment for people who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, addiction issues, co-occurring disorders and other behavioral health needs. ABC can help give back what your mental health condition has taken away from you. Wellness, relationships, physical energy, motivation, a sense of purpose, overall quality of life – everyone’s list is different but always important. While every situation is unique, our first step for every client is to give back HOPE.

Quick Access to Care and Medication

American Behavioral Clinics provide people of all ages the convenience to have access to quality, professional, and comprehensive outpatient mental health services. Creating and delivering innovative programs designed to prevent the occurrence of substance abuse and mental health problems and promote individual and family wellness. Some patients may find relief through psychotherapy sessions involving counseling and other coping strategies. Other patients, especially those suffering from mental health disorders, find that medication is what they need in order to achieve wellness and restore balance. ABC employs several licensed psychiatrists and nurse practitioners who may prescribe mental health medications as part of some patients’ treatment plans. Our compassionate doctors are trained to diagnose and treat mental health disorders with medication on an individual basis. A trained physician oversees each patient prescribed with mental health medications, and patients regularly participate in therapy so that our doctors can adequately assess their patients’ progress and the effectiveness of prescribed medications.

One Stop Shop

Throughout your life, biological factors such as your genes or brain chemistry, life experiences, such as trauma or abuse, or a family history of mental health problems may very well impact your thinking, mood and behavior. At ABC, recovery is possible! Below is a list of our innovative specialty care services: • TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION (TMS) • A safe treatment option that is non-invasive and is a medication free technique that uses magnetic fields to stimulate and activate the areas of the brain thought to be under active in people with depression. • KETAMINE THERAPY • Unlike traditional antidepressants, ketamine works in hours, not days or weeks. That is because ketamine works for depression in a mechanism completely different from typical antidepressants like SSRI’s and others. • GENOA HEALTHCARE • Onsite availability of a pharmacy to assist with a range of affordable and convenient pharmacy services that fit your needs.
