Amend Treatment is a residential treatment facility centered on the tranquil California coastline of Malibu with a singular focus: to help Clients recover and sustain their mental and emotional well-being. Amend brings deep expertise and scientific rigor to provide an authoritative new clinical standard of treatment and care. Committed to working with Clients by addressing the deeper, more difficult issues that impact their lives, Amend’s team is composed of multidisciplinary clinicians who specialize in treating several mental health disorders and co-occurring behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and more. With a low 1:2 Client-to-staff ratio and a maximum of 6 Clients at a time, guests at Amend receive high-quality, personalized, and confidential support to help them transform their lives and relationships in authentic and sustainable ways. Centered on the beautiful and tranquil coastline of Malibu, Amend was designed to reflect the calmness, creativity, and sense of hope that is often cultivated through Client experiences. The unique home structure provides both indoor and outdoor privacy. Clients can take advantage of Malibu’s beautiful weather, which includes an outdoor pool, outdoor lounging, treehouse meditation, yoga, and dining. Other outside amenities include large tennis courts, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and lush gardens– all surrounded by the California coastline. Inside, Clients can enjoy spacious, bright, and beautifully furnished private and semi-private rooms with private baths, each opening to a patio or deck. Amend Treatment’s in-house chef prepares nutritious, wholesome meals each day. Personal trainers are also available to meet the wellness needs of each Client. With a maximum of 6 guests at a time and 3 clinicians on every care team, the personal attention and depth of mental and behavioral therapy are unmatched by any other residential treatment facility, serving as a cornerstone of the practice.
