Adult and Adolescent Programs and Services
For almost 3 decades, Alternative Options Counseling Center has provided effective and compassionate treatment for adult and adolescent mental health, substance abuse, and eating disorders. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and have consistently met their highest level of accreditation. If you are struggling with longstanding or acute psychiatric issues, the cycle of addiction, or habitual disordered eating we can help you overcome your obstacles towards growth and wellness. We offer several programs to meet your needs, including Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Outpatient services. The structure of our program enables us to customize our client's treatment schedule to meet their unique needs, allowing them to attend a combination of mental health, eating disorder, and/or substance abuse groups. 
Adolescent Programs and Services
Our adolescent programs included specialized treatment for mental health, substance abuse and eating disorders. Our caring multi-disciplinary team will help your child develop insight into their emotional processes and learn effective coping and communication skills in order to help them succeed socially, emotionally, and relationally. We offer parenting, multi-family groups, and individual family therapy to better offer support not only for your child, but for the family as a whole. Our programs include Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Outpatient services. We are In Network with most insurances. Call for a free consultation. Reach out

Groups
IFS-Internal Family Systems Group
We are offering a 6-week IFS trauma focused group for adults. The group will run June 15th-July 20th, 2025. You will learn how to identify and build relationships with your inner parts, while cultivating a compassionate connection to your core self. For questions or sign up, please call 562-921-5701 or email hello@katieplumb-lcsw.com. This group will be led by trauma specialist Katie Plumb, LCSW. It will be held onsite at our Artesia location. Each session is $60 or if you pay for all 6 at once you will receive a discount of $50 per session/$300 total.
