We help people struggling with addiction/use disorders and mental health disorders on an outpatient basis. We know not everyone has the same backgrounds, life stories, current situations, and diagnosis so we create an individualized treatment plan made specifically for each patient. We have a team of medical doctors, psychiatrists, licensed counselors, and nurses who work together for your best treatment plan. We offer psychiatric evaluations with little to no wait times as well.

IOP Services provides intensive mental health care. We are the only independent, clinician owned mental health IOP in Alabama . We do not provide care to individuals whose primary current problem is a substance use disorder- there are many other options for their care.. IOP provides intensive therapy – 3 hours per session, 3 days per week. Group therapy is the foundation of IOP. Group has been well established as an effective treatment approach for 80 years. The interpersonal experience of group is supplemented and enriched with instructional material, psychiatric education and a variety of evidence based approaches. Psychiatric evaluation and treatment is available if you are not already in the care of a psychiatrist. Most clients continue their regular individual therapy schedule while in IOP. Enrollment is not determined by a diagnosis – but by how problems are interfering in your life. We offer in person treatment in Birmingham, Madison, Tuscaloosa and by telehealth for anyone in Alabama. We currently offer morning (9am-12pm) and afternoon group (1pm-4pm) sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders treats women (18 years or older) who struggle with feeding or eating disorders, such as: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, other specified eating disorder, rumination disorder, pica, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and/or unspecified eating disorder, and other disorders such as: mood disorders, substance use disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, attachment disorder, dissociative disorders, and/or personality disorders. Additionally, at Magnolia Creek, we believe spirituality plays a role in the care and treatment of eating disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions. Most agree that the first priority of a parent is to keep their child safe. When a teenager is taking risks that negatively impacts his or her life, and outpatient counseling has failed, the intervention of a residential treatment program may be the best course of action. Since 2006, Elk River Treatment Program (ERTP) has provided evidence-based therapeutic treatment for boys and girls ages 12 - 18. Our typical client may be struggling with one or more of the following: depression, anxiety, maladaptive behaviors, declining grades, poor peer choices, grief/loss, adoption issues, mental illness and/or dependency on alcohol or substances. We utilize a multidisciplinary treatment team to evaluate, assess and develop an individualized treatment plan to meet the needs of each client. ERTP is licensed by the State of Alabama Department of Youth Services and is accredited in Behavioral Health Care by The Joint Commission. Clients in grades 6 - 12 attend an accredited, college-prep school on site and are supported by Highly Qualified and State Certified Teachers.

Focus provides compassionate and comprehensive treatment for adults struggling with eating disorders and/or substance use. Our whole-person treatment approach reflects each patient's value and self-worth so that the care is unique and individualized. Our Chattanooga location offers inpatient detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care. Our Knoxville center offers an eating disorder intensive outpatient program, as well as outpatient therapy and nutrition services. We provide screening and assessments to help determine the appropriate level of treatment needed at both locations. Our treatment protocol for Longbranch Recovery residents includes: meeting with our psychologist weekly who specializes in grief/trauma/ PTSD to address underlying issues that contribute to addiction, meeting weekly with our psychiatrist- an addiction treatment and integrative medicine specialist, meeting with their clinician multiple times per week, attending daily peer-group therapy sessions with other residents, participating in yoga and meditation classes with our certified teacher 5 times a week, educational sessions and presentations by doctors/psychologists/clinicians in addition to speakers from various recovery support communities, attend outside 12-step and recovery meetings. The family can expect a robust continuum of care plan that includes, but is not limited to, 6 months to 1 year family case management, national client extended care placement, sober living recommendations and facility-to-facility transportation services, collaborative relationships and open lines of communications with referring clinicians
