Aerie therapeutic day programs are excellent continuing care options for bright teens who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, gender identity, suicidal intensity, and school related challenges. Our participants tend to be receptive to support, and are motivated to feel/get better and work towards specific goals with guidance and appropriate challenging from kind and professional adults. The PHP is a typical option for stepping down from an RTC or hospitalization, or as an intensive intervention for a teen needing more than traditional outpatient therapy. The IOP is a natural next step after completing a PHP.
Our day treatment programs are designed to reflect the needs, goals, and interests of the individual and collective participants. Psychotherapy, Psychoeducation, and Process groups are the core focus, supplemented by important Health and Life Skills groups. Individual and Family therapy sessions are tailored to align with each participant's treatment plan.
