The first step to achieving sobriety is safely removing the chemical from the individual's body. Clearbrook Treatment Centers has been providing a safe, medically supervised detoxification process since 1972. In order to ensure effective care, we built a brand new state-of-the-art detox unit in 2010. Along with our inpatient treatment program, our 22-bed detox unit is staffed 24-hours a day, giving our patients assurance that they are continuously cared for by our seasoned medical professionals. Upon a proper admission and evaluation, both our medical team and clinical staff will customize unique and individual treatment plans suited to each patient's specific needs. Clearbrook's substance abuse treatment program is centered on the belief that alcoholism and chemical dependency is a primary disease. Thus, our approach to treatment is utilizing the Minnesota Model, or otherwise known as the abstinence model, as well as incorporating the 12-step model of recovery into treatment goals and aftercare planning.

At Huntington Creek Recovery Center, located in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania, we offer superior live-in treatment for young people. Our adolescent residential program is available for teens ages 13-18 who are suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. Youths may enter the program directly or as a step-down to a less restrictive level of care from inpatient treatment. Our comprehensive residential addiction treatment program is tailored to the needs of each client so that they can get the most out of their time with us. Through age-appropriate services, we can help adolescents build a solid foundation for recovery and improve their communication, coping, and social skills. Our team aims to provide adolescents in our program with treatment that meets them where they are on their recovery journeys. We achieve this by taking the time to get to know each client and better understand the unique challenges they are facing. Each client’s program duration is determined on an individual basis. While the average length of stay in our residential program is 30 days, we offer extended care as needed.

Our residential inpatient treatment program along with a detox unit is focused on helping clients reach sobriety; utilize the 12-step programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, and begin a new lifestyle that is chemical free. Treatment in our adult residential program typically lasts 28 days, although each client’s actual length of stay depends on their needs. During this time, clients receive individualized care that can help them overcome addictions and improve their overall quality of life. Programming is delivered by an expert team that is comprised of certified alcohol and drug counselors, behavioral health associates, certified recovery specialists, master’s-level clinicians, and other behavioral health professionals.
