At Pillars Recovery, our addiction treatment staff dedicates their time and energy to helping individuals recovery from addiction. With years of experience and knowledge, our team knows a range of methods and treatment modalities for helping young professionals break the cycle of addiction and begin living health and productive lives. Darren Orloff founded Pillars Recovery years ago on three guiding principles: (1) to incorporate the model under which he got sober; (2) to take advantage of the advances in modern medicine and technology to create an even more effective program; and (3) to meet people where they are in their own personal journey. Our Laguna Beach facility is ideal for the outdoorsy type with over 50 miles of picturesque walking trails and beautiful coastal views. This residence, also limited to six beds, offers spacious and comfortable living quarters, Serta Motion adjustable beds and TVs in every room. Shared areas include a living room with comfortable couches, easy chairs and a big screen TV, in addition to a large dining area and enclosed glass sitting area. Our clients are able to receive a gym membership to the local Equinox gym during their stay. Additionally, clients are permitted to smoke and have their cell phone and computers with them during treatment. There are recreational activities clients participate in like beach trips, hiking or biking. Other sober outings can include movie nights, trips to the local theme park and Catalina Island, surf lessons, pilates, yoga, whale watching and jet skiing. Medication Assisted Detox and Treatment
While abstinence is the ultimate goal for all of our clients, for some with a history of severe opioid use disorder, chronic relapse or overdose, the responsible combination of medication with group and individual therapy can mean the difference between relapsing and succumbing to overdose, and a life in recovery. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) (Suboxone Maintenance) is not for everyone, and Pillars Recovery takes the misuse of medications very seriously, which is why all medications are prescribed under the oversight of our physician, and we follow strict MAT protocols.
