Treatment at Able To Change Recovery
Able To Change Recovery believes and has faith that people can and do recover from addiction. We treat the client without, shame understanding a disease affects them and they are struggling emotionally. These are good people who have the right to live a clean and sober life. The treatment team at ATCR has been in the field of addictive disorders for many years and brings extensive knowledge to the treatment of our clients. They understand the complexities of addiction and the underlying issues that plague the addict. We believe in a multidisciplinary approach. Our clients are taught about addiction and underlying issues. Our counselors help to understand and deal with these issues. Our clients are seen by our psychiatrist and evaluated for any possible co-occurring disorder or the continued monitoring of a pre-existing diagnosis. They are seen by our physician, and any pre-existing conditions are addressed. The client receives holistic approaches such as nutrition, our Nutritionist works with our clients at the facility but also visits the homes teaching the client tasty healthy cooking. Clients participate in Yoga on a weekly basis to enhance their ability to cope with stress and feelings in a healthy manner. 
Admitting To Treatment
The administrative staff at ATCR is kind and compassionate understanding the emotional state of admitting to treatment. They will assist the client through the admission process and handle the insurance benefits. The administrative staff will orient the new client to the facility, client rights and the living environment. They will answer any questions the new client may have and do everything in their power to make the new client as comfortable during the in take process as possible. Residential Facilities
Our beautiful residential facilities are located in Lake Forest CA, San Juan Capistrano CA, Capistrano Beach CA and Dana Point CA, and are staffed by our Resident Advisors (RA) who are there to assist our clients in everyday living. The RA's are supportive, assist with social aspects, program questions and transport client's to the facility and outside 12-Step meetings. The RA's are very helpful and personal with knowledge of the 12-Step recovery model and often serve to be inspirational to our clients. Take the first step to help.
