Domus Retreat- Private Addiction Treatment Center
Domus Retreat is a private and intimate treatment center for those suffering from alcohol or opioid use disorders. With a maximum of 6 guests at one time, we provide individually designed drug treatments based on an in-depth understanding of each person's needs. At Domus, we believe the key to treating unwanted opioid dependence begins with understanding the conditions and processes that drive the undesired behavior. Once there is a clear picture of the factors causing unwanted addiction, a treatment plan can be determined. We offer medically assisted detoxification by our quadruple board certified medical director, Michael H. Lowenstein, MD to help you achieve freedom from opioid dependence. Additionally, Domus Retreat offers a unique relapse prevention program for those who are struggling to maintain sobriety or have had a very brief relapse but do not need detoxification. Clients do not have to commit to a long term treatment and can stay as little as one week or as long as three weeks.
Rapid Detox Center After Care
Domus Retreat is one of the only opioid addiction specialized treatment in the country. The treatment center offers around the clock professional care and assistance. It supersedes all drug rehabs with rigid doctrines and preset rules. Domus has partnered with the Waismann Method which offers medical detoxification in an accredited hospital prior to entering the retreat. The medical opioid detox gives patients the ability to be individually accessed and emotionally supported without unnecessary suffering. Guests are provided a number of different therapeutic services that can include: Psychotherapy, Yoga, Massage, and Acupuncture as ways to help with physical and emotional recovery. There is also an educational process to help with many of the related causes of unwanted chemical dependency - Such as sleep problems, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. Treatments are designed exclusively for patients battling an addiction to heroin, Methadone and all other prescription opiates including Norco, OxyCodone, Dilaudid, Percocet, Suboxone, Morphine, Fentanyl and others. We offer 1 to 4 weeks programs.
Opioid and Alcohol Addiction Executive Program
So many drug treatment programs involve breaking down someone in order to build them back up. These failed methods are archaic, cruel and unproductive. We use respect rather than judgment, and each program tailored to the individual's needs. Our treatment helps people with opiate addiction regain confidence and spirit rather than relinquish it. Domus Retreat concentrates on those who use opioid in order to self-medicate emotional or physical pain, and often both. David Livingston, M.A., M.F.T. leads psychological treatment at Domus. Livingston's experience with diverse client populations allows Domus guests to take advantage of specialized emotional evaluation and treatment during their stay. Our guests will experience expert care from the highly-trained multidisciplinary team. There are also around-the-clock pampering and inclusive services including massages, yoga classes, drama therapy and much more. The private, gated property features private suites and expanded outdoor grounds with lush landscaping and a serenity pool - an ideal spot for regaining both physical and emotional strength while recovering from opiate and alcohol dependency.
