Action Family Counseling's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serves as a vital step in the treatment journey, often following Residential Treatment (RTC) but also functioning as an entry point for those with less severe needs. With outpatient centers in Santa Clarita, Simi Valley, and Bakersfield, California, the program provides a flexible structure to support recovery. Clients typically attend group sessions three times per week and engage in additional resources such as 12-step meetings, individual and family therapy, sober living arrangements, and community-based support groups. This level of care is tailored to help clients balance their familial, occupational, and social responsibilities while participating in intensive treatment. Each client is assigned a dedicated counselor who conducts a thorough assessment of their unique challenges and goals.
