Newport Academy’s Virginia location offers treatment for teens between the ages of 12-17. Our integrated approach treats the trauma and attachment wounds underlying teen mental health and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD. We address these root causes through comprehensive, solution-focused treatment that involves the entire family in the healing process. To support our teens and their families in achieving long-term, sustainable healing, our clinical model takes into account every aspect of a teen’s well-being—physical, psychological, relational, and educational so they can thrive when they return home to their families, schools, and communities. Moreover, we are dedicated to ongoing research on the efficacy of our treatment. To ensure that our care is truly evidence-based, we track a variety of treatment goals and commission rigorous third-party evaluations of our programming. Music is our medicine at Recovery Unplugged, and we serve it up in heaping doses. All of our licensed therapists creatively blend clinically-proven methods of therapy with music to provide you with an effective, individualized, and unique rehab experience. Utilizing music in your care can act as a catalyst to gently break down barriers that you may have built up through years of addiction or alcoholism. We work with most major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested provider-to-provider calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.

National Capital Treatment & Recovery Counseling Center offers drug and alcohol addiction treatment for adults just miles from Washington, D.C. Our day and evening services give adults the support they need, when they need it for issues including co-occurring mental health conditions. We match solutions that best meet the needs of clients with a goal for long-term recovery. These can include outpatient treatment services, assessments for all levels of care including DUI and DWI classes, substance use disorder education, and long-term support. This nationally-accredited program emphasizes self-awareness of addiction, as clients learn to assume personal responsibility for their recovery. Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness is a clinician owned and operated eating disorder treatment center that offers compassion and evidence-based care with a comprehensive and holistic approach to partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programming (IOP), and outpatient therapy and nutrition counseling. Our PHP program is 5 days a week from 8-3 pm and our IOP programs are 5-8 pm, three days a week.
