We accept all major insurance, and up to 100 percent of our services are covered. Our goal is to partner with insurers to address the adolescent and young adult mental health crisis, by reaching more families and helping them achieve sustainable recovery. Our gender-specific treatment programs begin with a comprehensive assessment that informs the creation of a tailored treatment plan. Each teen’s customized plan incorporates clinical, experiential, and holistic modalities. Our clients’ weekly schedules include individual and group therapy, utilizing modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Our approach recognizes that the family is an essential part of the healing process, and we use Attachment-Based Family Therapy to repair parent-child relationships and restore family harmony. In experiential therapy, including art, music, Adventure Therapy, Equine-Assisted Therapy, mixed martial arts, and more, teens process emotions and memories through doing, feeling, and relating—not just thinking and talking. Adventure Therapy, which takes place in beautiful outdoor settings throughout southern California, is a cornerstone of our experiential offerings. Residents also spend structured time in the classroom each day, and with tutors as necessary, so they can continue to make academic progress during treatment. What Makes Us Different?

Teens in our outpatient and residential programs build self-compassion, resilience, healthy coping skills, and more trusting relationships with parents and peers. Each client’s individualized treatment plan is informed by their specific needs and history and designed by mental health treatment specialists who are the best in their respective fields. Teens are surrounded by 360-degree care, with a team that includes a psychiatrist, individual therapists, family therapists, experiential therapists, and other experts focused on treating underlying issues and external manifestations of mental health conditions. Moreover, our outcomes research sets us apart, continually validating the positive impact of our treatment model despite the increasing acuity of clients’ diagnoses.
