At our facility, we offer a residential program for adolescents ages 11-17 whose struggles with mental health and substance use disorders have interfered with their ability to thrive at home, in school, and socially. Founded on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy, our residential programming is designed to help patients address the unique emotional challenges that come with being an adolescent today. Our goal is to provide young people with a safe, welcoming space where they can learn to manage their symptoms, cope with social pressures, and make healthier lifestyle choices. Adolescents in this program may receive basic medical care and medication management services as needed, and those who are battling addictions can participate in 12-Step programming. Patients remain in our residential program for an average of 90-120 days depending on their needs.

Oasis Behavioral Health, located in Chandler, Arizona, is an inpatient treatment center serving adults age 18 and older who are suffering from substance use disorders and mental health concerns. The goal of inpatient care is to stabilize patients who are in crisis and prepare them for the next phase of their healing journey. To enter treatment at the inpatient level, a person must be a danger to themselves or others, be in need of detoxification services, or have severely impaired judgment. Adults in our inpatient program must be willing to participate in treatment and take medications as recommended by their providers. While the average length of stay in this program is seven to 13 days, each patient’s actual program duration depends on the progress they make during treatment. In our inpatient setting, patients can take part in evidence-based modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and 12-Step programming.

At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Walnut Creek, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety; and daily academic support. (Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely.) Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, hiking, and meditation) as well as 12-Step/SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.
