Forte Strong is a Failure to Launch program specifically designed to give your son the independent living skills and confidence he needs to succeed in life and achieve independence in 6 months. We get your son off the couch, out of the house and ready to take on the world! Failure to launch syndrome is categorized by the inability of young adults to leave home and become independent. We use a proprietary and results based coaching method to neutralize anxiety and promote confidence, creating monumental changes within our students in a very short amount of time. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) gives individuals new aptitudes to oversee excruciating feelings and reduce interpersonal frustrations. DBT explicitly centers around giving restorative abilities in four crucial aspects. Mindfulness centers around improving a person's capacity to acknowledge and be available in the moment. Distress tolerance is designed for expanding an individual's resilience of negative feeling, as opposed to attempting to escape from it. Emotional regulation consists of tools to oversee and change extreme feelings that are messing up an individual's life. Interpersonal effectiveness comprises of methods that permit an individual to speak with others in a manner that is confident and assertive, keeps up confidence and self respect, and reinforces connections and relationships.

Matt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the area of counseling/treatment since 1995. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Special Education from BYU and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Utah. Matt is the co-founder of Therapy Associates and the YPA Center. He has designed curriculums used in substance abuse treatment, sexual offenses treatment and sexual addiction treatment. He is the author of the workbook Breaking Free: A Therapeutic Workbook for Youth Struggling with Pornography Addiction.

Licensed and Accredited, our Detox programs assist clients with physical stabilization and withdrawal transition in a safe, comfortable, and medically managed environment. MD Physicians and Nurses manage client care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shadow Mountain Detox Hospital provides multiple medical detox programs, including drug detox, prescription pill detox, and alcohol detox. Care is led through physical stabilization, comfort, and transition through withdrawal symptoms. We utilize National medical standards, and our clients' comfort and safety is our top priority.
