We provide services in the community to adults with serious mental illness that will stabilize their illness, minimize symptoms, improve functioning and enhance each person’s social inclusion, quality of life and sense of meaning in life. We provide transitional and supported living and outpatient treatment for psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar, and other serious mental illnesses, and are considered experts in this area. Created by the internationally recognized Dr. Richard Warner, Colorado Recovery approaches care for mental health based on a path of self-reliance through developed practiced skills. This non-institutionalized philosophy offers comprehensive levels of care supported by an expert medical and clinical team, engaging patients in increasing community participation. Those under our care go to school, volunteer, or are employed in the beautiful surrounding Boulder area where they regularly take advantage of all it has to offer recreationally. We provide a continuum of care to establish new ways to approach common challenges with mental disorders. Our program provides a welcoming community in which clients can make connections and enhance their social inclusion and quality of life. We offer our transitional living and outpatient programs (IOP) for increased independence. Individual Psychiatry Sessions Available
Colorado Recovery is currently able to have most clients meet with a psychiatrist as needed. Our individual direct-to-psychiatrist sessions are a good option for those not seeking treatment at the transitional or outpatient levels of care. We can help in the management of prescription medications after the initial consultation. Conditions Treated: Mood and Thought disorders (Schizophrenia, Bi Polar disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD are among the disorders we treat).
