Wholistic Trauma Resolution
4Winds offers a wholistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. We address the constraints of traditional treatments through integrating the body, mind and spirit, offering the individual a customized wellness program. Our therapeutic team works with natural medicine including Chinese and western herbs, natural plant medicine and psychedelics to address unresolved trauma, PTSD, addictive behaviors, depression, anxiety and co occurring disorders. Our wellness community is located on 140 acres of pristine farmland between Vail and Aspen Colorado. We offer 30, 60 and 90-day residential trauma resolution programs for women as well as 4, 8 and 11-day intensives.
Natural Medicines meets Traditional Therapies
We are uniquely focused on dissolving diagnostic categories. Our residents are not divided or defined by their diagnosis, and they participate in classes with our greater community, helping to remove stigmas associated with their conditions. We offer a supportive network where women can rewire their mental health, address unresolved trauma and heal.

Our trauma-informed practitioners work with individuals who seek deep, transformational healing. As guides, we work with creative explorers of consciousness and complex problem-solvers, pushing the edges of human potential.Interventions using psychedelics have shown promise as a treatment for alcohol dependence, nicotine dependence, anxiety related to a terminal illness, and chronic PTSD, and research is underway to examine its efficacy in relation to obsessive-compulsive disorder, treatment-resistant depression, and social anxiety related to autism, among other potential applications.
