Programs and Levels of Care at Resource Treatment
With the all-encompassing goal of helping to stabilize the behavioral and emotional symptoms that children and adolescents experience so that they can successfully reintegrate back into their communities, Resource Treatment Center offers three levels of treatment in order to provide a full continuum of care. Our psychiatric residential treatment program offers treatment to youth between the ages of 11 and 21 who are facing the challenges that come with the presence of psychiatric conditions and require a highly structured setting in order to gain control of their symptoms. Our general residential treatment program offers treatment to young people between the ages of 8 and 21 who are dealing with behavioral and emotional impairments and disturbances that have resulted in the onset of significant disruption in their lives. Our Cardinal Point program offers treatment for males between the ages of 12 and 20 who are struggling with severe developmental delays, as well as behavioral challenges, yet who are able to function appropriately in an open house setting while receiving the care they need.
Admissions Process at Resource Treatment Center
At Resource Treatment Center, we recognize how difficult it is to make the decision to put a child into intensive treatment, both for the children themselves, as well as for their families and loved ones. For this reason, we put forth every effort to make the admissions process one that is as easy, comfortable, and streamlined as possible. Following set guidelines for admissions criteria, our staff is able to determine whether we will best be able to meet each child's needs. In additional to meeting the general criteria, each prospective patient will complete a thorough evaluation so as to ensure that the all needs are understood and all concerns can be addressed. Once a child or adolescent has been approved for admission, a recommendation for the most appropriate level of care will be determined and an individualized treatment plan will be devised. Whatever a child's needs may be, the caring and compassionate staff at Resource Treatment Center will do everything in our power to make sure that they have access to every potential avenue for recovery that is available to them.
