About Recovery at the Crossroads
Recovery at the Crossroads is an outpatient treatment center that focuses on co-occurring substance use disorder primary care. We provide a variety of counselling and support services to individuals living in South Jersey. We have small groups and licensed clinicians in direct care roles. The modalities offered in RAC have a holistic approach and feature trauma informed care with PhD’s on staff that offer EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy as well as other ancillary services to help treat our clients in the form of wellness, adventure, music and art therapies. The environment of care is most commonly extended care “partial care” with sober living support. This approach models the appropriate outpatient level of care wrapped in a social sober living housing structure to aid the rehabilitation process and minimize distractions to enhance the focus on recovery. This level of care also has an Orthodox Jewish track available to those of the Jewish faith who wish to maintain a Glatt Kosher culturally compliant experience in treatment, while maintaining the necessary linkage to their spirituality. Treatment Programs
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides daily access to structured treatment and professional support during the client’s continued rehab. Clients attend sessions for several hours every day, including individual and group therapy to continue to develop healthy ways of coping and identify and deal with triggers and root causes for substance abuse. Our rehab drug treatment services can also be an ideal option for individuals who may not require residential recovery but do need the daily support and supervision to get through withdrawal phases and break out of addiction cycles. Intensive Outpatient treatment programs (IOPs) are often the next step after PHP or residential recovery services. IOPs can also be a good first step for some individuals struggling with substance abuse or a measure that you can take if you’ve used drugs or alcohol a few times after a term of recovery and want to ensure you don’t fall back into addiction. The General Outpatient Program (GOP) is meant to be a continued step-down through the recovery process and to prepare clients for long-term sobriety. We offer additional therapy tracts specific to the Jewish faith. Office Based Addiction Treatment Program
RAC's affiliate agency Recovery Wellness Group (RWG), located in Suite 3 of our Egg Harbor Township office welcomes virtual appointments for their Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) program. OBAT is aimed at patients struggling with substance abuse in New Jersey. Patients receive specialized treatment for their substance use disorder. The 6 weeks medically monitored medication and navigation program is led by experts in the field and three nurses with extensive experience in substance use disorder treatment. Our OBAT team treats patients with approved medications for substance use disorders such as Buprenorphine, Naloxone or Vivitrol. Patients can start addiction treatment for drugs or alcohol from anywhere in New Jersey virtually. The OBAT program is fully covered by Medicaid. Take the first step to help.
