I am a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Los Angeles, California. As a Latinx therapist, I bring a culturally sensitive approach to my practice. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations, including survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I have also helped individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues and other life stressors. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives with unique experiences and work with clients to provide them the tools and guidance needed to build on their strengths and work toward growth.
I work with children, teenagers, and adults. My approach to therapy is strength-based. I commonly use principles and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Managing and Adapting Practice to help clients build coping skills and manage emotions and stressful events.
I strive to create a genuine and accepting environment where clients can feel safe and comfortable discussing anything. I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment.
