Child Parent Relationship Therapy

Child Parent Relationship Therapy is a structured 10 week group to enhance the parent/child relationship through supporting parents in gaining confidence to better understand and communicate with their child with reflective responses, clear limit setting, choice giving for consequences, esteem building responses, and encouraging efforts vs praising products. Parents get 20 hours of instruction and therapeutic support. Each week builds on the previous week. Parents implement and practice the skills at home with their children. Intensive support is offered weekly for group discussion, as well as adding new skills weekly. This group is appropriate for parents with children ages 2-12.
