Many of the individuals & couples I work with struggle to break free of self-defeating patterns - they feel stuck. I have specific expertise in working with people who have been impacted by distressing or traumatic life experiences. Trauma can contribute to a sense of disconnection from ourselves, others, and the world. This is an adaptive reaction to abnormal events. In time, you may realize that living life in ‘survival’ mode is no longer serving you. You may feel numb or empty, or feel ‘too emotional' or reactionary. Connecting with others may feel overwhelming. You are deserving of growth, connection, and healing.
I pay particular attention to the connection between mind and body and incorporate EMDR and somatic therapies into my work. I am pursuing certification in Relational Life Therapy - a transformative approach to couples therapy (completion in late 2026). Other focus areas include: sex/intimacy, LGBTQ+ population, and inner child work.
My realness and warmth are two of the characteristics that are most appreciated by my clients. I seek to provide a safe, collaborative, therapeutic space - one in which I honor your full personhood, the identities you hold, and your lived experiences. I approach my work with compassion and curiosity. It would be an honor to work with you towards your goals.
