Working with an experienced therapist in a nonjudgmental setting can transform your life. I foster an open, trusting relationship where you feel safe to be authentic, gaining new self-understanding. With extensive psychotherapy expertise, I’ve served as faculty at Maricopa Community Colleges as well as providing counseling and behavioral health services at Arizona State University for students, staff and faculty. My studies as a Doctorate in Behavioral Health deepened my work and research in depression, grief, anxiety, and individual/couple challenges. I’m committed to guiding you toward meaningful growth and emotional well-being.
Areas of focus include stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem, life coaching, grief, men's/women's issues, trauma, infertility and postpartum depression. Counseling is specialized for each client. I work with couples (Gottman/ EFT) and individuals. Let's talk and work toward a better understanding of what is happening in your life and how to feel better.
With over 30 years of specialized clinical experience, Dr Folts holds a Master's and a Doctorate and is licensed to practice psychotherapy in both Arizona and Florida.
